Arda beach
The Arda beach is an ocean beach in the municipality of Viana do Castelo, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean. It has a white sandy beach that stretches for about 1.2 km, making it one of the beauties of the municipality of Viana do Castelo.
Arda beach, also known as Praia do Bico or Praia da Mariana, is famous for its potential for surfing and bodyboarding, with consistent and varied waves that can reach up to 3 meters in height. Due to its characteristics, it is the stage for several national and international championships in these sports.
