The city of Viana do Castelo celebrates New Year’s Eve with fireworks at midnight from the River Lima.
In Praça da Liberdade (enclosed space) between 00:00 and 06:00 there will be entertainment with DJ Pette and special appearances by DJ Blackbounce and DJ Fábio Gonçalves.

The 1st of January 2024 will be marked by the New Year’s Concert at the Sá de Miranda Municipal Theatre, at 5pm, by the Braga Philharmonic Orchestra, with free admission.
