“Viana Heart of Christmas” returns to mark the festive period of Christmas and New Year’s Eve in Viana do Castelo, from 8 December 2023 to 7 January 2024.
Christmas Square, ice rink, mini carousel, ecological carousel, Christmas Market, street entertainment and circus entertainment, concerts, children’s activities, nativity scenes and exhibitions make up a diverse programme of 88 events focused on the fortnight before Christmas.
On 31 December, at midnight, the usual fireworks will be launched over the River Lima and there will be New Year’s Eve to enter 2024 on the right foot. The 1st of January 2024 will be marked by the New Year’s Concert at the Sá de Miranda Municipal Theatre, at 5pm, by the Braga Philharmonic Orchestra, with free admission.
